OUR PASTOR
Reverend Alyce French Johnson
Reverend Alyce French Johnson, a faithful member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville, Kentucky, received and accepted her call to preach in the year 2000 and was licensed by the church’s former pastor of 35 years, Rev. Dr. Thomas H. French.
Reverend French Johnson was ordained as a minister in 2008. Through her faithful service to the church she has served in various capacities including Administrative Assistant to the former Pastor, Reverend Dr. Thomas H. French, Facilitator for the VESSELS for Christ Women’s Ministry, Sunday School Instructor, Children’s Church Facilitator, President of the Pastor’s Choir as well as a member, Associate Minister and Associate Pastor.
Reverend French Johnson was installed as the Pastor of Oak Grove on Sunday, August 4, 2017.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Our women's ministry meets the 4th Saturday of every month to study the Word of God and to fellowship with one another. The purpose of the ministry is to empower and uplift one another as sisters in Christ.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
At Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, we believe that the children are our future. Â The Bible says to suffer the little children to come unto Christ and forbid them not (Matthew 19:14). Â Our Children's Ministry is for ages 4 - 12.
BOYS & MEN'S MINISTRIES
We believe we must teach our boys and young men to become the men that Christ has called them to be. Our Boys to Men Ministry is for ages 13 to young adults.
Our Men's ministry meets for fellowship as brothers in Christ and serve as mentors to our young men.
MUSIC MINISTRIES
Music is an important part of our worship and praise to God. The Bible says "Sing to him, sing praises to him. Tell about the amazing things he has done." (Psalms 105:2).
